    Goals / Remit

    Act as the European-level umbrella organization of center-right youth organizations.

    Act as the youth organization of the European People’s Party and the EPP Group in the European Parliament.

    Organise the exchange of information and practices between the member organizations.

    Main EU files targeted

    The Youth of the EPP looks to ensure that topics and specific policies of importance of our member organisations and political grouping. Within the last two years, it has included topics such as:

    - Health
    - Intergenerational fairness
    - Democracy
    - EU-US Relations
    - Climate and Economy
    - Sustainability
    -Youth Unemployment

    Our aim is to ensure that the policies and proposals from our members are shared on a EU platform: We must ensure that the voice of the youth is heard.

    Communication activities

    Throughout 2022 we increased our engagement with our youth, through various initiatives and events. The main areas of priorities included a follow up on the Conference on the Future of Europe, Sustainability and Industry, Youth engagement and upskilling, and security threats.

    Once area of priority also was highlighting the effects of the War in Ukraine on the rest of Europe and the need to stand strong on our European values of democracy and respect for human rights as well as lives.

    These events allowed us to pass numerous resolutions related to the aforementioned themes which are:

    Resolution: A stronger EU response to Chinese economic aggression against Lithuania

    Resolution: Fostering cross-border cooperation

    YEPP Declaration of Presidents: A stronger economy for a sustainable future

    Resolution: Enhancing financial literacy amongst EU citizens

    Condemnation: Condemnation of Russian military aggression against Ukraine and the probable war on Eastern Europe

    Joint Declaration: Europe’s Youth Stand Against Russian Aggression & In Support of Ukraine’s Future

    YEPP brings together young like-minded individuals from all across Europe so that we can:

    - Strengthen and innovate the centre-right in Europe.
    - Advocate for our political priorities within the centre-right as well as in the society.
    - Facilitate the exchange of ideas, methods and debate between our Member organisations and other youths across Europe.
    - Empower, train and support our Member Organisations and young activists.
