    Goals / Remit

ZE-Drive is a Direct VLT ERS (Electrified Road System) solution (120V DC) complying with existing regulation and offering a plus in Augmented Electro-Mobility.
ZE-Drive offers a new safe and simplified approach, exclusively on dedicated divided lanes to Level 4 Personal Autonomous Vehicle Driving with a powerful (2G) emergency braking device.
The simple and reliable mechanical back-up and electrical technologies of ZE-Drive are aimed at :
    - mitigate the liability of car manufacturers/suppliers by reducing the risk of personal car accidents in level 4 autonomous driving, in particular by restricting them to a pedestrian-free area,
    - increase, by direct 120V DC power supply, the autonomy of EVs and lighten, in the medium term, their weight by reducing the capacity of the batteries required*,
    - provide a powerful emergency braking solution for autonomous and future "platooning" traffic as Elisha OTIS did for the elevator in 1853.

    Main EU files targeted

Deployment of Alternative Fuels Infrastructure (AFID) to achieve transport emissions decrease by 90% by 2050.
to meet policy ambition set out by the European Green Deal for the EU to become a climate neutral economy by that date.
