    Goals / Remit

    The mission of CEMIS is to develop measurement and information system competence in nationally significant application areas such as the mining industry, the renewable chemical and forestry industry, intelligent systems, sports and well-being, and game and simulator technology.

    CEMIS employs about 110 measurement and information system experts. The centre’s annual funding is approximately 10 million euros.


    Our vision is to a desired international partner in measurement and information systems development. Utilising the combined power of our five partners we will create leading experts in this field, new technology and new business operations by offering research and development services and a high standard of training in an innovative and international environment
