    Goals / Remit

FinMobility actively influences EU legislation affecting the Finnish transport and mobility sector from the preparatory phase to final decision-making. Our primary objective is to bring the views, objectives and best practices of the Finnish mobility and transport sector to the EU level for discussion and decision-making.

While bringing FinMobility members' messages to EU procedures, we also provide up-to-date information from the EU level to our member organisations.

    Main EU files targeted

FinMobility monitors EU legislative processes, in particular in the areas of transport, logistics, mobility, environment and climate, social legislation, skills, data and digitalisation, and the sharing economy. FinMobility's monitoring and lobbying work covers all modes of transport, with a particular focus on road transport, both passenger (buses and taxis) and freight.

We also focus in depth on issues related to the automotive industry - in particular car trade and aftermarket - and industry and land transport infrastructure.
