GNE Finance is a leader at leveraging finance to deliver innovative solutions that maximise social and environmental impact while delivering sustainable returns to capital providers. GNE Finance provides advisory and financing solutions for home and building renovation to public and private programme managers. GNE Finance brings its expertise, track record, and network to promote, structure, finance, and manage clean energy projects. GNE Finance currently is a funding recipient of 14 European Projects under the Horizon 2020 Programme, including ORFEE, FITHOME, HIROSS4all, REGENERATE, SHAPE-EU, SER, BIRTUOSS, HORIS, EU PEERS, SIRCULAR, Low2High.

    GNE Finance is promoting EuroPACE (home-based financing tool aimed to increase investment in energy efficiency in buildings), thus the company is inclined to support and promote policies that assist in the implementation of EuroPACE. In this regard, GNE Finance is interested in following up with the policy developments related to Energy Performance in Buildings Directive, Energy Efficiency Directive, Capital Markets Union and the whole clean energy package that unites a broad array of initiatives that are in line with financing deep energy retrofits in buildings.

    Communication activities

    GNE Finance promotes innovative financing mechanisms to scale up the decarbonization of the European building stock and designs, deploys and runs integrated home renovation services in collaboration with European regions and cities. GNE Finance is beneficiary of several H2020 projects. The EuroPACE project ran between March 01st 2018 and August 31st 2021 and dedicated relevant resources to communicate and interact with stakeholders involved in the energy efficiency investment arena. As such, GNE Finance participated as EuroPACE leader and Speaker in several events like the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum (Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place), the Energy Sustainable week, etc.
    GNE Finance is also beneficiary of the following H2020 projects: EEnvest, Grant Number 833112; HIROSS4all, Grant Number 846707; FITHOME, Grant Number 892214;
    Save the Homes, Grant Number 892749; ORFEE, Grant Number 894478.

    Other activities

    GNE Finance is part of the European initiative EEFIG - Energy Efficiency Financing Institutions Group.
    GNE participates in open consultations. For instance, on March 18th, 2021, GNE joined a call about "Guidance on implementation of the Energy Efficiency First Principle to the financial sector", organized by the European Commission.
