ENAV è la Società cui lo Stato italiano demanda la gestione e il controllo del traffico aereo civile in Italia. ENAV è una componente del sistema ATM (Air Traffic Management) internazionale, pertanto partecipa alle attività di ricerca e sviluppo in coordinazione con gli organismi di controllo internazionali del settore quali ICAO, EUROCONTROL e di categoria (CANSO).
