    We are a modern philanthropic organisation that takes on tough, persistent issues to drive massive change. Our global initiatives include Arts & Culture (support connected, collaborative & creative communities), Building Communities (fostering healthy communities), Collaborate Against Cancer (accelerate cancer research & improve prevention, detection, and treatment), Flourishing Oceans (working to help the oceans regain a flourishing state), No Plastic Waste (eliminating the negative impacts of plastic on people and the planet), Generation One (ending disparity between Indigenous & non-Indigenous Australians in our generation through reforming specific policies and creating sustainable training and employment opportunities), Walk Free, Fire & Flood Resilience (reducing harm caused by fire and floods), Frontier Technology (building a digital ecology that empowers people), Thrive by Five & Research & Innovation to enable change.

    We are working on many projects, more details of which are available on our website (minderoo.org). In the EU, Minderoo is advocating for laws and policies which end plastic waste leakage to our environment (both terrestrial and maritime) through increasing transparency in the plastic value chain, investing in new technology and innovations, and by working with industry to improve recycling and collection of plastic waste, reducing our use of plastic generated new from fossil fuel feedstocks.
