    Communication activities

    -Engaging with Commissioners, EU civil servants, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) or their assistants, to represent our position on the current situation affecting the Roma communities within EU countries. Such as but not limited to:

    1. antigypsyism
    2. housing
    3. poverty
    4. poor education
    5. wellness and health issues

    -Taking part in or EU-run structures such as Expert Groups, Advisory Committees, High Level Groups, European Parliament Intergroups, Committees or forums to discuss our agenda addressing Roma integration within EU countries. Expanding on our socioeconomic programs which address specific problems with viable solutions to tackle and diminish the current crises.

    -Organized events

    1. present at an event in March to discuss health
    2. collaborated with EPHA on Roma Health issues at the April 26 event in Brussels
    3. presented at Roma Week on 11th of April
    4. Met with Italian delegates on May 15th to discuss the living conditions and health issues arising from camp living.
    5. Will be hosting an event in Romania before delegates about Roma discrimination and the current Roma deaths happening in the Ukraine and elsewhere.

    6. Will be presenting our organization before the EU in September of 2018. The following has been done for this event:

    forums dealing with EU policies/processes, invitations
    to which have been sent to Commissioners, MEPs and
    their assistants or EU officials for out upcoming.

    At this event, WRF will be introduced before the parliament as a nonprofit organization and has been granted the forum to discuss our work, social measures, as well as to expand upon our vision for the Roma people and their integration.
