    Goals / Remit

    - Building a European antisemitism monitoring network: One of APL’s aims is to heighten the awareness of antisemitism in the European societies. The primary tool in achieving this is continuous professional monitoring of antisemitic incidents in public life. Neither Jewish communities nor individual Jews can be protected unless there is data on antisemitic incidents and that these are collected and analysed.

    - European antisemitism survey:
Action on antisemitism has to be preceded by a scientifically thorough situation analysis. APLE has launched a unique research for Europe, which will investigate antisemitic prejudice in the population of 16 countries. The countries to be studied are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

    - European project: School book revisions reflecting on how Jewry and Israel are represented:
