Goals / Remit
FIFUR is the parent association of the Finnish fur branch and advocacy and educational organization that represents producers and guards social and political interests and business cooperation in Finland. FIFUR's regional associations have 442 member companies operating fur farms in Finland. Dedicated fur animal breeding has been practised in Finland for more than a hundred years and the Association was founded in 1928. FIFUR is guided by the objective that Finland is the most responsible and profitable country for breeding fur animals. FIFUR aims to secure living space, continuous development and competitiveness for fur industry by supporting the well-being of producers, animals and the environment.
