EUSIPA aims to harmonise industry standards for the business segment of structured investment products in Europe, which includes Switzerland as the main retail market for such products.
The harmonisation effort is illustrated best by the EUSIPA Derivatives Map which groups the available structured retail products according to their risk profile and pay-off mechanisms. Other intiatives in that context are the code of conduct for issuers, available on the website, or activities that seek to harmonise the use of terminology in publicly available market material, both on the national and the cross-country level.
EUSIPA in general is contributing on a permanent basis to the discussions of retail financial products dissemination and publishes each position paper sent to European institutions.- Meetings
